Laboratories

General facilities for all laboratories are listed below.

• 100 mbps high speed interruption less wired Ethernet connection.
• Proper air-conditioning facilities to prevent heating issues.
• Proper working set of peripherals for each system to provide better working environment.
• Each lab consists of 2 or 3 workstation systems which deliver greater performance to use advanced software’s.
• Each lab consists of a wide screen monitor or a projector for presentation purpose.
• Speakers and mic to hold workshops.

    The core laboratories associated with the Department and their specific facilities are listed below.

1. Operating system laboratory        

• Consists of 45 systems.
• Ubuntu Linux operating system has been installed in all systems, So that the students can get used to Unix environment.
• High performance systems with 7^th gen i5 processor and 4gb ram
• High speed network connectivity.
• Necessary Linux software’s are preinstalled.

2. Networking laboratory

• Consists of 36 systems.
• Windows operating system has been installed in all systems to offer performance with compatibility
• High performance systems with 7^th gen i5 processor and 4gb ram
• High speed network connectivity.
• Each system is preinstalled with networking tools and software’s to ease up the life of students.
• Graphical networking software’s are installed for better understanding of the students.

3. Database laboratory

• Consists of 52 systems.
• Windows operating system has been installed in all systems to offer performance with compatibility
• High performance systems with latest 8^th gen i3 processor and 4gb ram
• High speed network connectivity.
• Database management tools are installed and configure to speed up learning.

4. Project laboratory

• Consists of 30 systems.
• Windows operating system has been installed in all systems to offer performance with compatibility
• High performance systems with latest 7^th gen i3 processor and 4gb ram
• High speed network connectivity.

A high resolution projector is available to provide presentations during project reviews.
