VISION
To make ethically and emotionally strong Electrical Engineers of high caliber capable of meeting the national and global technological challenges for the well being of the Society.

  • To impart state of the art Knowledge in Electrical Science and Technology through under-graduate and graduate programmes.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) was started in the year 1966 with an intake of 40 students. Over the years, the Department has steadily grown and currently the student's intake is 60. Along with Undergraduate (UG) programme, the department offers a Post graduate programme in Power Electronics & Drives and was started in the year 2003 with an intake of 18 students. The Department has research center approved by Anna University Chennai. The Department has sufficient research supervisors in variety of fields.

UG PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES
 
  • PSO 1: Ability to identify, analyze and solve engineering problems in the domains of Design, Thermal and Manufacturing systems.
